Received my Sherpa stallion only 10 days after I placed my order, unfortunately the shipping company dropped it in transit, and broke off the electric motor. Sherpa quickly replaced it. Very pleased. I own 2 Sherpa winches, both are outstanding. The Stallion has so much power, it’s almost scary.

I received the winch -in what I thought was record time -from Australia, all the way to Vancouver Island, Canada. The winch is a heavy and quality constructed item. Installation was quite straightforward with quality accessories included except for a bracket (missing?) for the solenoid box to attach to the trailer. I had to fabricate something for that, which required replacing the screws that hold the thing together with longer ones that then went through a fabricated bracket. A few more details on installation would be helpful. I was impressed by the generous amount of wire included in the kit, and the fact that it was actually copper. Now I’m looking forward to the season and putting this thing to work instead of me.

I recommend getting the wireless remote. It's a good quality unit and makes life easier when trying to work with a winch rope and the cable of the remote. Works at a good distance too.

High quality hitch. Definitely keep clear of the cheap stuff our there as a massive safety risk if it fails. Delivery was quick too!

I bought 2 of the 20k tow truck winches to replace the winches on both my roll-off trailers. The factory winches were smittybilt 17.5k winches, and while they never failed on me, they weren’t properly suited to the task and work I put them through. The Sherpa Tow truck winch is much better suited to the work I do. They spool faster and pull heavier than the smittybilts. I am very satisfied with my purchase. The fit and finish of these winches is fantastic, and they arrived very quickly, especially considering how far they traveled.

Definitely recommend get this with the boat winch. Makes launching and retrieving so much easier when you're alone. Good product.

Good solid quality kit with all bits included. Quick delivery to Alberta.

I would recommend ordering this with any of the rope winches. Allows you to essentially double line pull without damaging the rope. Great when you're really stuck in mud.
