Sherpa 4x4 Alloy Soft Shackle Recovery Hitch
The Sherpa hitches are designed to fit common 50 x 50mm / 2" vehicle receivers and offer a far safer fixing point over other commonly used options. Tow balls are not designed for snatch style recoveries and are known to break and turn into projectiles. Another common error is using the vehicles shipping tie down points as recovery points, these are not rated and can easily fail.
The Sherpa recovery hitches are manufactured from strong 6061 aluminium and are finished with a hard anodizing top coat which helps to delivery greater wear resistance.
The hitch is designed with a large recovery smooth hole meaning it can be used with soft rope shackles without damaging the shackle.

Note: Never exceed factory receiver hitch pull rating. Always use a quality steel alloy 5/8” hitch pin. Always pull in line with the hitch, do not bind or side load the shackle
